In which case should this treatment be used?
PRP (Platelet-rich Plasma) is a plasma-based preparation (the liquid component of blood) enriched with a high concentration of platelets.
For its manufacture, it uses exclusively the patient’s own blood, taken during a simple blood test.
Platelet-rich Plasma injections utilise the regenerative and healing properties of blood platelets and other plasma components.
The procedure involves taking blood and then centrifuging it under sterile conditions in order to obtain PRP. The PRP obtained will be reinjected into the areas to be treated by superficial injection into the dermis of small quantities, using a thin needle.
This treatment makes it possible to:
- Reduce cartilage destruction and lower inflammation in osteoarthritis
- Regenerate injured muscles, ligaments and tendons
- Improve the texture, density and brightness of the skin
- Reduce wrinkles, fine lines and dark circles
- Improve the appearance of acne scars or post-traumatic scars
- Stimulate hair regrowth.
- Slow down the temporary fall of hair
- Correct scalp disorders (dandruff, irritations).
